The Tentsile Connect Tree Tent makes it possible for you to camp in your tent suspended above the earth, giving you the freedom to sleep away from the hard, wet, rocky, and uneven ground conditions below! The cutting-edge shelter combines the comfort of a hammock with the coziness of a traditional tent and uses 3 robust ratchet straps to ensure the shelter is anchored firmly in place. The connect is Tentsile’s 2-person flat-based hammock tent.
This camping tent features water and UV-resistant removable polyester fabric rainfly and a see-through shield of mesh netting that lets you enjoy the night sky while being protected from annoying or harmful insects.

WHEN SLEEPING, IS THERE A LOT OF MOVEMENT IF SOMEONE MOVES AROUND IN THE TENT?
About as much as a well-filled water bed. Not much, just a gentle bounce.
CAN I PUT MY TENT UP REALLY HIGH AND HOW DO WE DO IT?
Your Tentsile should be set up at a height that you would feel safe falling from. We recommend 1.2m as a safe and easy height to use. Pictures you see of high installations have been executed by professionals with Rope Access experience.
WHAT ARE THE THREE RUBBER PIECES INSIDE THE SPARE BAG?
They are Tentsile WaterGates. Slip them onto the D-Ring to stop any water ingress during sustained periods of rain when the orange straps become fully soaked.

I bought the Tentsile Connect – will never go back! It’s the better than tents and better than hammocks. The pack weight is 18lbs- but that is only a net of 9 additional when subtracting the weight of my old tent, rainfly, footprint and stakes. 100% worth carrying the extra weight. It takes me about 8 minutes to set it up and 8 minutes to take it down and pack it – so no real loss or gain from that perspective. It also fits into my 65L pack with room for clothes, food and other gear around it. Worth every penny!

First night in the Tentsile Connect last night. Absolutely love it. The most comfortable tent I’ve ever slept in. Set was easy with a little bit of a learning curve. The next set up will be much easier now that I know the nuances of tree to tent positioning and finding the comfortable height. We went a bit high at 8 feet, which takes some work to get in and out. I think 4 feet would be perfect. We also have the T-mini hammock which we positioned just under the Connect to hold gear. Thunderstorms hit in the middle of the night and in the morning all of the gear was bone dry. Happy campers.

I have had the Connect now for about a year and still love it just as much as the day I first set it up! Been through some rough storms with this tent and never once has it leaked. Even the wood I put under it stayed dry! I have talked to customer service before and they were more then helpful! Will be taking this tent out this weekend as well. There’s just so much storage space and room in this tent. I’m 6’4 @ 250lbs and have no problem storing snacks, shoes, backpack, water/beer inside this tent. Used this tent more then enough in the last year and haven’t noticed any tears or really any wear on this beast. You definitely get your money’s worth with this thing cause the quality is outstanding! Highly recommend to anyone curious or someone who wants their partner to sleep next to them without being shoulder to shoulder of each other like you would in a regular hammock. It can be sometimes tricky finding the right trees but once done setup is easy with a little trial and error. I live in Oklahoma and our trees here can be small but still able to set this thing up with no issues. Make sure you WD-40 the ratchets every so often cause they do seize up due to dirt. Little to no maintenance though.

Living in the Pacific Northwest it rains a lot. I’ve been into hammock camping for a time now, but could never get comfortable enough as I’m a side and stomach sleeper. The Tentsile line of tree tents solves this problem with a more “ridged” floor, while still up off the ground, and out of the water. I plan on using it a lot this coming hunting season. This is the greatest thing I have ever purchased. Set it up the minute it got delivered. Hung out all day and stayed the night in it completely bug free and comfortable.
