Kammok Mantis All-In-One Hammock Tent

The Kammok Mantis is a hammock tent that is designed with a breathable hammock body, integrated insect net, and featherlight rainfly. The Mantis hammock tent lightens your pack and takes your camping experience off the ground. The Mantis all-in-one hammock system is smaller than your sleeping bag and lighter than a 1-person tent offering a lightweight respite for hikers on the trail.

The best sleep outside, even better

Sleep off the ground in a silky soft hammock enclosed in our Dragonet™ no-see-um mesh canopy for ultimate insect protection. Our hammock tent is designed to simplify and elevate your camping experience. The Mantis™ all-in-one hammock tent also features built-in pockets and a structural ridgeline to keep what you need close at hand.

All-weather versatility

The best hammock tent combo to see you through rain, wind, snow, and sun. The Mantis’s customizable features provide shelter from the elements and allow you to shed weight when you need to. When the weather is nice and the night sky is clear, roll back the fly and look through Stargazer™ panel to provide exceptional contrast with the night sky – hello Milky Way.

60-second set-up

Lighter than your tent and easier to set up, the Mantis™ hammock tent takes camp set-up to 60 seconds with a knotless suspension. No more knots, no more tent poles. It’s time to put your feet up faster. Early morning starts just became easier, too, with a quick tear-down.

I like the three in one design. Free some backpack’s space, more room to other stuff. The setup is so easy and fast, you know after a long walk with sore muscle, quick setup and jump in and rest! Overall is a marvelous hammock, well done and looking forward to another great design.

This works for a large fellow. I am 6’4″ and 250 lbs and I fit nicely in this hammock, much to my surprise and delight. Well made, easily hung.

The Mantis is a prize package! A breeze to set up and all the coverage needed. The forecast is rainy for a 4 day, 35 mile hike next week and I’m glad I’ll get my sleep – off the ground!

  4. Jsmitty

I was a little hesitant to transition to a hammock since I’ve been a tent sleeper for all my backpacking career but I’m totally change. I have never slept so good in my life that I’m trying to figure out a way to setup my Kammok in my bedroom

Finally! A good night’s sleep while camping.
I finally had the chance to take my new Kammok Mantis on a weekend camping outing this past weekend. We did a weekend canoeing outing in central North Carolina, camping on the banks of the Haw River in some beautiful, but rocky and uneven terrain. My Mantis was all that I had hoped – comfortable, easy to set up and extremely well thought out and constructed. I finally got a good night’s sleep and woke up with none of the usual aches, pains and back stiffness that I usually experience, even with very expensive ground sleeping pad(s).

I was repeatedly impressed by the little, thoughtful touches: The way the Kammok stakes nest in the side pocket of the stuff sack, the separate internal pocket for the rainfly in the stuff sack and the way the small orange metal hooks and tension adjusters allow you to quickly attach the rain fly and keep it perfectly centered and taught. The small details add to the overall feeling of quality and make the Mantis very aesthetically pleasing.

The cut of the bug net and the shock corded tensioners really prevent that “cocoon” feeling that I’ve had with other camping hammocks. I was able to get a really flat lay and the soft feeling of the hammock material made the experience that much more cozy. I am 6’3″ and 240 lbs with very broad shoulders and I had plenty of space with zero claustrophobia. I did experience a little stretching out of the suspension system (Python straps) during the first few minutes, but a quick readjustment got things back in order. I’m sure this is completely normal for first use, especially with someone of my size. The entire setup was stable for the remainder of the weekend.

I highly recommend the Mantis for anyone interested in an extremely well engineered and constructed hammock camping system. The crew at Kammok have included a ton of thoughtful design features that make the Mantis all the more enjoyable and a superior value to other all-in-one hammock systems on the market.
